Although we are well into a late summer and fall FIRE SEASON with the trend toward curing 1-hour fuels and some dormancy in timber, we still have a lot of green in place. A killing frost is still several weeks away.

Yesterday, PV had a truck fire on I-40 that started a small--about 0.25 acre-- wildland fire. Torching in cedars was observed.
